Echolo G1 Wifi Setup

This article will help you set up your Echolo G1 Indoor Long Range (ILR) BLE Hub to use your local WiFi connection.


  1. Power the Hub On - First, unbox and plug the ILR into a power source using the UBS and AC adapter included with the unit. (You may also use PoE to power the unit)

  2. Connect - Using your phone or computer, connect to the Hub's WiFi (GW-XXXXXXXXXXX), the password will be the Hub key.

  3. Login - Once connected via WiFi to the Hub, you will need to point your browser to: ''

    1. Login to the Hub admin page.

      username: admin
      password: {Hub Key}

  4. Setup and connect to WiFi - Now that you are logged in, you can click on "Network".

  5. You will see two sliders, both are off by default. To connect to your local WiFi network turn the "Repeater" slider to the "ON" position.

  6. You will see additional options as shown in the image below. Select your WiFi SSID in the Available SSID drop down.

  7. Enter your WiFi password and select the correct mode (most common will be DHCP).

  8. Click "Connect", the Hub will reboot and when it comes back online you will be connected to your local WiFi.


You are now, finished. If you see the LED bar "rotating" and not "flashing" for longer than 2 minutes then you may need to try your configuration again. Depending on your settings: to know you have connected you will see the LED's turn off or slowly transition from one color to another.


You may be prompted by your browser letting you know "Your connection is not private". This is because the Hub does not have an SSL Cert that your browser will recognize. Simply proceed to the login screen.
